Philosophy’s latest launch is a microdelivery triple-acid brightening peel, which is designed to provide the benefits of chemical peel at home. The microdelivery triple-acid brightening peel delivers brightening and anti-aging benefits in one step. It sweeps away dead skin cells, brightens discoloration, improves clarity, and buffers the appearance of fine lines, according to the company. The microdelivery triple-acid brightening peel uses mandelic acid, a “next-generation” alpha hydroxy acid. Mandelic acid provides the benefits of more traditional alpha hydroxy acids, with less potential for irritation. Twelve individually-wrapped, pre-saturated chemical peel pads (for weekly use) are sold in a clinical-looking white box with black printing and a splash of turquoise. The product retails for $68 for 12 treatments.
